#TimeTravelTuesday : Excitement

One reason I love digital photography is that it’s very easy to look back through the years and see how much has changed…

Or how much they haven’t.

This photo of my son was taken last May 2012 – two months shy of his 1st birthday. All he could do was crawl, but that didn’t stop him from exploring his little world that is our living room.

CJ excitement

That’s why I envy children sometimes. The walls that sometimes surround them doesn’t stop them from having a sense of excitement and adventure. We adults need to take their lead and stop wistfully looking out the window. One can always find something exciting wherever one happens to be.

Please join me in my new Time Travel Tuesday link-up! It’s sort of like throwback thursday or flashback friday, except it’s on Tuesdays and accompanies a post.

Any old photo will do that might inspire you to write a post. It could be a photo from yesterday or as far back as your great-grandma’s time! The older, the better!

I hope you’ll find looking back at your old photos as fun and nostalgia-evoking as I planned it to be. DO link-up and tell us all about it! And please…SPREAD THE WORD!

I cringe at the quality of some of our old photos of when the kids were younger. we didn’t have very good camera……but, you look past that and there the memory of the moment still burns bright!
and I remember that I used to sit and look through my grandma’s old yellowed and curled corner’d photos for hours!
Now that I am taking a coffee chat break on Tuesdays…. perhaps I will join you one Tuesday. :)

It’s all about the memories that the photo evokes, not the quality of the photography/camera/etc. Right? I’m happy to hear you’ll be joining me. I hope it’ll be as fun as I imagine it’ll be!
